New Patient Chiropractic Exam/Adjustment
At your initial visit, we’ll start with a brief health history and consultation to understand your goals. Then, we’ll perform a physical exam—checking posture, range of motion, and spinal alignment. If appropriate, you may receive your first gentle adjustment to help restore balance and mobility. We’ll finish by discussing a personalized care plan tailored to your wellness needs.
Chiropractic Adjustment: Established Patient
At a regular visit, your chiropractor will check how you're feeling, see how your body is responding, and give any
necessary adjustments if needed. These visits may also include myofascial work—gentle muscle and tissue release—to help reduce tension and improve movement. It's a shorter, focused visit to continue to way to keep your body feeling its best.
Chiropractic Re-Examination
A chiropractic re-exam is necessary when it has been four to six months since your last visit. This is a follow-up to reassess your spine, joints, and overall health. It includes:
Updated health history (new injuries, symptoms, or changes)
Review of past issues and progress
Physical exam (movement, posture, spine, and nerve checks)
Updated treatment plan based on current findings
New Patient: MLS Laser Therapy Exam
On your first visit for MLS laser therapy at Casto Chiropractic, we will discuss your symptoms and will assess the area of pain or inflammation. The treatment involves using a non-invasive laser that emits specific wavelengths of light to reduce pain and promote healing. You may feel a slight warming sensation during the session, which lasts about 5 to 15 minutes.
After the session, you might experience immediate relief, with ongoing treatments potentially improving your condition over time. The chiropractor will suggest a treatment plan, and you can return to normal activities right after the session, with no downtime needed.
MLS Laser Therapy
Our holistic approach combines expert care with an advanced therapy called MLS Laser Therapy, a non-invasive solution designed to reduce pain, inflammation, and speed up the healing process. This is an excellent treatment that can be paired with your chiropractic session to drastically speed your healing and dramatically improve your results.
Foot Orthotic Exam/Fitting
Evaluation: We will check your feet, posture, and walking to find issues like flat feet or poor alignment that may cause plantar fasciitis, knee pain, and or back pain. We will discuss what and why this is happening.
Foot Scan: We will examine your foot to fit the orthotic for your specific foot size and shape.
Custom Fit Orthotics: Inserts are sized to support your arch, reduce heel strain, and improve body alignment.
Fitting & Follow-Up: Once we size you, you will try them on, and be able to take them home that day. Specific directions will be given and we will discuss any follow up appointments if necessary.
Active Myofascial Release Therapy
Myofascial release therapy (MFR) focuses on relieving tension in the fascia (connective tissue), which can become tight and cause pain, limited movement, and dysfunction. It complements chiropractic care by addressing soft tissue restrictions that chiropractic adjustments don’t target.
